Mustard Seed Autism Trust accept children aged between 3 and 11 who live within Hart and Rushmoor, including the borders of Surrey, up to a 10 mile radius of Farnborough. They accept referrals directly from parents only. Each year there is an opportunity to join the waiting list for family support.
Family Support: each child has an individual plan, which may involve one-to-one or small group work, focusing on social, communication, emotional, sensory and motor difficulties.
Advice Line: The advice line runs one afternoon every week. You can book a call with a member of the team, who will be able to give advice, recommendations, signposting and resources. Most calls last 45 minutes to 1 hour and are followed up with an email. You do not have to be on the waiting list to make an appointment. Resource Hub: there are a wide range of information resources for you and your children to download and use.
Mustard Seed Autism Trust is a small charity, which offers professional and practical support to families living with autism. They serve families within a 10-mile radius of Farnborough, Hampshire. Their team of staff and volunteers provide practical support for children with their communication, motor co-ordination, sensory and emotional difficulties, through a range of therapies and activities. They also offer support to parents and siblings and recognise the need for joined up working with other professionals involved with the families and offer support to schools and local organisations.
Mustard Seed Autism Trust also provides professional training to local schools and organisations on various autism-related topics and operates a social enterprise in North Hampshire offering occupational therapy to children from two to nineteen within the school environment.
