About Cornerstone Counselling
Cornerstone is a counselling service based at St Peter's Church, Yateley. The counsellors are professionally trained for the work they do, and adhere to the code of ethics of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, of which Cornerstone is a member. The service provides help for people with many different needs including depression, anxiety/panic attacks, abuse, marital/relationship issues and bereavement.
Clients do not have to be a member of the church or a Christian to be able to use the services of Cornerstone; however, they do have to want to change things and to be committed to achieving this. Cornerstone does ask people who use the service to make a payment for each session. The arrangement is reviewed from time to time. Cornerstone would not, however, wish anyone to be deterred from making enquiries because of an anxiety about cost.
