Yateley Men's Shed

About

Yateley Men's Shed offers a meeting place for men and women to connect, converse and create. A space to share a cup of tea with like-minded individuals. It is also a community workshop where you can try out your skills repairing, making or just enjoying the company of others. Activity is mostly woodworking of some description, as the tools available are set up for this. Skills transfer from members with knowledge and experience, to people who would like to and for some reason have not had the chance yet. Light metalwork and other skills may be included in the future if there is more space.

Shed members work on their own projects, volunteer their time to undertake public commissions and engage in community based projects.

About Yateley Men's Shed

The aims of Yateley Men's Shed are: a) to be a workshop and social centre for Yateley residents; b) to help members maintain their health and wellbeing, make new friends and enjoy working on a range of projects; c) to assist the community of Yateley in practical ways whenever possible.

User Cost/Charge Information
The annual subscription is £60 for the year running from the 1st of May. Members joining part way through the year will pay a pro rata membership fee. The annual subscription covers the main running costs such as insurance, maintenance of the tools and safety gear. There is also a nominal charge of £1 per visit to cover the costs of refreshments, power and lighting and waste collection.
