Yateley & District Lions Club

About

Yateley & District Lions Club share a number of activities with other local Lions Club in the area: Computer refurbishment for redistribution, Message in a Bottle, Spectacles/glasses recycling, promoting the Lions Community Store, and taking part in the annual Funfest.

The main event that the Yateley & District Lions Club organises is the May Fayre, and other events that the Lions support include the Yateley Christmas Market and Yateley Firework Fiesta. Smaller fundraising events to raise money for local good causes also take place throughout the year.

About Yateley & District Lions Club

The Lions Club of Yateley & District is a small community based organisation consisting of about 25 active Men and Women, but it has the support of the International Association of Lions Clubs. This organisation links similar clubs in 189 countries around the world. The club exists to support the local community. The Lions Club of Yateley & District aims are to provide practical help where and when it is needed in our local communities. Wherever there is a need Lions try to meet it. Whilst the Club does provide support after global disasters, the main focus is our local community with 90% of all funds raised spent in helping people and organisations within Yateley, Blackwater, Eversley and surrounding areas.
