Women's Institute - Long Sutton & South Warnborough

The Long Sutton & South Warnborough WI meetings are held in Long Sutton Village Hall on 2nd Thursday each month at 2.30pm in Winter and 7.30pm in the Summer.

Activities include lunch trips to local venues, occasional workshops, painting and their “Stitch and Bitch” (not much of the latter) sessions are popular. Other visits and outings are also arranged further afield (eg the Guildhalls in London).

The WI is a democratic, social and educational charity. Every WI provides monthly speakers/demonstrators on a variety of topics decided by members. Other meetings, crafts, walking, discussion or drama groups, choirs etc, are decided by members of individual WIs.
