The Tilly Widgets meet at the Trinity Church Hall in Blackwater on 2nd Wednesday each month at 19.30. Regular activities include a Craft Club, which meets monthly and a Book Club which meets every six weeks, and is open to all members. About Women's Institute - Hawley/Blackwater (Tilly WIdgets)

Tilly Widgets WI is a member of Hart Group and is part of Hampshire Federation (HCFWI). The inspiration for their name came from Tilly Shilling, an inspirational Farnborough woman who was a pioneer in British aviation. They are a developing WI with traditional ideas with a modern twist, bringing together women of all ages, backgrounds and cultures in the local community. Visitors are always welcome. Today the WI plays a unique role in enabling women to gain new skills, take part in wide-ranging activities and campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities. The WI is a diverse organisation open to all women.
