The Whitewater Valley Wine Society welcomes new members who are aged 18 and over. There is currently no waiting list for membership. The primary benefits of membership are: Receiving your own box of six ISO tasting glasses, which you are asked to bring along to use at each tasting. Priority booking for most regular tastings and some special events. A reduced charge for most regular tastings and some special events. If you are not sure whether you wish to join, then you are welcome to come along as a guest.

About Whitewater Valley Wine Society

The Whitewater Valley Wine Society is a wine appreciation society based Hook. The Society's aim is to be friendly, welcoming and to provide a good mixture of fun, learning and social events. If you enjoy wine, then they are confident you’ll be interested in our tastings and special events. Most of their evening tastings are led by a guest speaker. Each year they introduce some new speakers, whilst retaining some favourite speakers who return to present different topics on a regular basis. The Society now has about 60 members. About half of the members live in Hook, with most of the remainder living across North Hampshire. Such is the popularity of their tastings that attendance usually averages 40-45 members and guests. From time to time, they also organise a number of special events, including fine wine dinners, visits to local restaurants, barbecues and summer garden parties.

User Cost/Charge Information
The period of Whitewater Valley Wine Society membership is for one year from the Annual General Meeting, which is held in February each year. The cost of full membership is currently £12.50 per year. Since all new members are given their own box of ISO tasting glasses, there is no reduction for members joining part way through the year. Members currently pay £15 for most regular tastings, whereas guests normally pay £18.
