About Yateley Neighbourcare
Yateley Neighbourcare offers transport to people in the Yateley/Blackwater area who have difficulty with public transport due to disability or disadvantage. They take people to health appointments, visits to relatives, occasional shopping trips or for any purpose that helps with day-to-day living. Volunteer drivers use their own cars to take members to their appointments. The appointment is made by you calling the duty officer. They will need to know when and where you are going. They work on appointment times and the driver will collect you from your home in plenty of time. The drivers will wait and take you home, although if it is a long appointment they may drop you off and return later. They do not charge for this service but would ask that an appropriate donation that you can afford is made towards the drivers' time and costs.
Yateley Neighbbourcare is a member of the Good Neighbours Network of community groups in Hampshire providing transport and social support to local residents - usually older people.
