About

Speaker Programme - please check the web-site for details of the Society's speaker progamme - meetings take place at the Cross Barn.

Current projects that the Odiham Society are involved in: The Odiham War Memorial Project: working with the Royal British Legion to fully identify those named on our local War Memorial and to find more about their social and military history. The Local Blue Plaque Project. Odiham Family & Community History. The Pest House - built c. 1622 and subsequently housed local people and travellers suffering from the plague and other infectious diseases. Many such “isolation hospitals” were built in that period but the Odiham Pest House is one of only five examples surviving. It was restored by the Odiham Society in 1981 to form a mini Heritage Centre.

Please look out for other activities and also check their planning page for details about any planning applications that the Society is engaged with.

About The Odiham Society

The Odiham Society aims to record, protect and enhance the heritage, character and environment of the Parish of Odiham and North Warnborough. The Society publishes two journals each year and run speaker evenings on local and interesting topics. At these events members meet and enjoy a glass of wine. Visits to places of interest and a Christmas evening complete a busy annual programme of events. A number of exciting projects are always on the go and the Society welcomes volunteers who wish to become involved in serving the membership and the community.
