Support is provided through volunteer case-workers. Please contact the branch to be put in touch with a case-worker nearest to where you live in Hampshire.

If you need urgent help, you can contact Forcesline on 0800 2606780 - this is a free and confidential helpline providing advice and information for serving personnel, reserves, veterans and their families. It is completely independent of the chain of command.

About SSAFA the Armed Forces Charity: Hampshire Branch

SSAFA provide lifelong support to those who are serving or have served in the British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Marines or the Royal Air Force, and to their families. If you are unable to reach the Hampshire branch number, you can contact Forcesline on 0800 2606780 between the hours of 09:00 and 17:30, Monday - Friday.

SSAFA helps the armed forces community in a number of ways, though their focus on providing direct support to individuals in need of physical or emotional care. Addiction, relationship breakdown, debt, homelessness, post-traumatic stress, depression and disability are all issues that can affect members of the Armed Forces community. Many of these problems only become apparent when an individual has to leave their life in the Forces and join Civvy Street.
