My Home Made Better is a free and impartial source of support for specialist advice about retrofitting your home. The service offers a free, 30-minute phone appointment with a specialist adviser. During your appoint, your adviser will ask you about your home and lifestyle before talking you through the changes that could work well for your property, likely impact on energy bills, and any grants and funding streams that might be available. You will then receive a written step-by-step plan, and guidance for finding reputable installers for when you are ready to proceed.

About The Environment Centre
The Environment Centre is an independent charity which aims to reduce carbon emissions, encourage sustainability, improve air quality and help people keep warm and well in their homes. In order to achieve their aims they provide advice, deliver outreach and training, carry out data analysis and mapping, and manage practical projects. They support others to take action including voluntary groups, charities, schools, businesses, and local government. They have worked on a diverse range of local, national and European projects from fuel poverty, air quality and waste minimisation to best practice in behaviour change, sustainable construction and peak energy demand reduction.
