The Lions Club of Fleet welcomes new members to join them to enable the wide range of community events, fundraising activities and welfare support that they provide either as the lead local Lions club or in partnership with other Lions Clubs in the north Hampshire/Surrey borders area. Lions Club members also have regular get togethers and social events they can join in.

Each year Fleet Lions put on the following events: Fireworks Festival in Calthorpe Park and the August Beer Festival at the Harlington. See the calendar on their web-site for other smaller fundraising or community events that they are organising or supporting.

Other Lions' activity - Christmas Float fundraiser, Prostrate Cancer Awareness and Screening, the IT project refurbishing donated PCs and laptops for distribution to children/households on low incomes; Spektrek (recycling glasses/spectacles); "Message in a Bottle" scheme, help with energy bills, and much more!

How do I join? The first step to joining the Fleet Lions is to meet up with someone from their membership team for an informal chat to give you more information about becoming a member. Please e-mail membership@fleetlions.org.uk for more information. Probably one of the best ways to be introduced to Fleet Lions is to come along to one of their events or socials.

About The Lions Club of Fleet

The Lions is the largest voluntary organisation in the world. Every penny collected is spent on community projects, and administration is funded through membership subscriptions. The Club has around 40 members who all live in the Fleet area and come from all walks of life. Fleet Lions organise annual events such as the Fleet Fireworks, Motorcycle Rally and Beer Festival and run and support many community projects: Lions Community Store, Message in a Bottle, Prostrate Screening and Spektreck glasses/spectacles recyling.
