About

Activities at the Elizabeth Hall and Hook Community Centre often include: yoga, pilates, table tennis, singing, zumba, music, drama, dancing, craft groups, older adults social, older adults exercise, toddler activities, youth clubs.

Room hire: Elizabeth Hall
* Hall 1 - (13m x 14m) -capacity: 200 seated or standing, fully-sprung wooden floor, large fixed stage (useable stage area approx 8m x 5m), hatch from the kitchen into the bar area adjoining Hall 1 foyer.
* Hall 2 - (8m x 6m) - capacity: 45 seated/60 standing, kitchenette unit with mugs for 40 people, sliding wall allowing division into 2 smaller halls, adjoining hallway with Hall 3.
* Hall 3 - (8m x 6m) - capacity: 45 seated/60 standing, kitchenette unit with mugs for 40 people, can be hired with Hall 2 to make larger space, ideal for parties.
* Hall 4 - (7m x 5m) - capacity: 40 seated/50 standing, large hatch to kitchen, adjoins Hall 1 and is ideal as food service or bar area, use of kitchen included in hall hire.

Room hire: Hook Community Centre
* Sheldon - (12m x 17m) - capacity: 200 seated/250 standing, large ground floor multi-purpose hall, sound-proofed walls and ceiling, badminton net and marked court, hatch from the kitchen.
* Bartley - (8.5m x 6m) - capacity: 45 seated /75 standing, small ground floor hall/meeting room, adjoining door to Sheldon so ideal as bar/serving area, 20% discount if booked with Sheldon, hatch to kitchen.
* Holt - (8m x 11.5m) - capacity: 70 seated 100 standing, bright and stylish first floor hall/meeting room, ideal for classes, meetings and parties, small self-contained kitchen with cutlery and crockery for 100, disabled access via stair-lift, 2 table tennis tables available at small additional charge.
* The Club Room - (7.5m x 20.5m) - maximum capacity is 50 people - the Club Room's unique atmosphere and facilities make it perfect for clubs, societies, events, and parties. As well as a kitchen area & toilet facilities, there’s a lounge area, pool table, table tennis and table football.

Parking is available at both venues. Hook railway station is within easy walking distance of both venues.

In addition at Hook Community Centre, the Hartletts Cafe is open to the general public - Mondays to Fridays 8.00 - 16.30, Saturdays 8.00-16.00 and Sundays 9.00-15.00. Hartletts Cafe can provided catering for your event.

About Hook Village Halls Charitable Association

Hook Village Halls Charitable Association (HVHCA) is the registered charity that runs the Hook Community Centre and Elizabeth Hall, providing a wide spectrum of facilities, from a small meeting room and small halls to a sports hall and a performance venue with a large fixed stage, stage lighting, a sound system and capacity for a seated audience of 200. So, whatever your requirements, the HVHCA should be able to accommodate you.
