u3a is a UK-wide collection of 1000+ charities that provide the opportunity for those no longer in work to come together and learn for fun. Make the most of life and join around 400,000 members exploring new ideas, skills and interests with your local u3a.

Hartley Wintney u3a offers a broad range of interest and activity groups from cultural (Music Appreciation, Theatre Trips) to social (indoors and outdoors) and from physically undemanding to mildly strenuous. New Groups are formed when a member suggests a new topic and enough members are interested in joining the group. The u3a’s non-formal learning model promotes and maintains happy, healthy lives.

Monthly meetings are held on 1st Tuesday (except August) of each month from 10:30 am at the Victoria Hall, Hartley Wintney. Doors open at 10:15 am. As well as updates on Group activities, there is a guest speaker. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available before the meeting.
Groups meet in various locations including the Victoria Hall complex, the Methodist Church Hall, the Cricket Pavilion and, where appropriate, at members' homes. Each Group is headed by a Group Leader whose role it is to co-ordinate the activities.

Hartley Wintney u3a offers opportunities for people who are no longer in full time employment to meet new friends, learn something new or maybe revive an interest that has been on the back burner for a while. New members are welcome at any time during the year.
The Parish includes Phoenix Green, Dipley, West Green, Elvetham and Hartfordbridge.

User Cost/Charge Information
The annual subscription for all members is £17.00 (in October 2024), for the current membership fee please consult the website. Individual groups may have additional charges to cover room hire, catering, travel, entrance fees, etc.
