Hart Health Walks
About
Health walks are aimed at anyone who would like to walk in a safe and social setting. Everyone can walk at their a pace to suit them. People who may be rehabilitating after an illness and who would like to begin to take gentle exercise or who feel they would like to meet people are especially encouraged. The walks are 50-60 minutes long with short walks (10-30 minutes) organised at Hook, Crookham Village, Fleet, and Hartley Wintney for those who are less able. Walks are led by trained volunteer Walk Leaders and require no specialist walking clothes other than stout shoes. At the end of the walk there are refreshments and a chance for a chat.
Hart Voluntary Action currently runs 7 weekly Health Walks across Hart. If you wish to come along to one of the Hart Health Walks just turn up. Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the attendance register and listen to the walk briefing. First-time walkers should complete a simple registration form. Once that is completed you are able to turn up at any of the walks whenever you wish.
