About

The easiest way to find out if you'll enjoy scuba diving is to attend one of the try dive sessions. The dive will be conducted at your pace and it's your opportunity to discover how much fun scuba diving can be. The try dive sessions offer a relaxed and easy introduction to the underwater world in a swimming pool.

Your dive will be conducted by one of our experienced teachers. Try dives take place once a month at a modern pool facility with easy access to pool side and assistance is available where needed. Before you get wet, you'll have the opportunity to discuss the session. Dive Ability volunteers can discuss your requirements, prepare your equipment and customise the session to suit your needs.

You just need to bring your swimming gear and a towel. All other equipment is provided.

Pool sessions are held on the 1st Saturday of the month at Lord Wandsworth College.

About Dive Ability

Dive Ability aims to make scuba diving accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of physical ability or background. Their motto is 'breaking barriers with bubbles' and that's what they constantly strive to achieve. Every member of the team has a passion for scuba diving and the immense sense of freedom it can offer. More than that, they are passionate about sharing that freedom with others. They aim to teach scuba diving in a way that suits their clients, at a pace they are comfortable with and aim to make it fun!

Dive Ability offer try dive sessions at Lord Wandsworth School in Long Sutton. Dive Ability are a registered Handicapped Scuba Association (HSA) training centre offering a range of courses: Open Water/Ocean Diver; Advanced Open Water Diver; Rescue Diver; Specialities; Dive Master; HSA Scuba Instructor and HSA Dive Buddy.

The charity also arranges scuba diving holidays.
