Support available via the two day service locations which specialise in providing care and slow stream rehabilitation to individuals that helps them achieve their goals, no matter how large or small.

This is accomplished through a variety of activities, such as: Functional Mobility. Independent Living. Cognition and Communication. Learning. Well-being and Healthy Living. Social and Leisure. Creative Arts and Crafts. Pre-Vocational. Carers Group.

About Disability Initiative

Disability Initiative was set up to provide a specialist service to adults with complex physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries. They offer a programme of activities specifically created to meet individual needs. They operate from two centres in Camberley and Fleet.

Following an initial assessment by an occupational therapist, an individual support plan is created which details specific needs. Together with the client goals are set along with a choice of programmes along with any care or respite requirements. Disability Initiative offer an ever-changing mix of over 60 activities in any one week including: functional mobility, independent living, learning, wellbeing and healthy living, social and leisure, creative arts and crafts.
