Blackwater & Hawley Leisure Complex Facilities

Both the Leisure Centre Hall and the Memorial Hall are regularly used for a variety of exercise classes.

The Blackwater & Hawley Leisure Complex comprises the following:
* The Leisure Centre Hall is available for children's parties & other small functions that do not want alcohol (there is no bar in the hall & licence does not cover public supplying their own. The Memorial Hall is available for Adult Parties (not 18th or 21st), wedding receptions, anniversary parties etc. including a staffed bar (max capacity 150).
* The Meeting Room is available for Training Sessions, Small Meetings etc. (max capacity 25). Quiet Area in Coffee Shop also available for meetings (max capacity 10).
* Squash Courts
* The Coffee Shop is open Monday – Sunday - opening times vary. The Coffee Shop "Comfy Room" is available for hire.
* Inn on the Green is open Monday – Friday (17:30 – 22:30) Saturday & Sunday (12:30 – 14:30 and 17:30 – 22:30).

Externally, the following are available to hire on a regular or one-off basis:
* Cricket pitches (adult and junior).
* Football pitches (adult and junior).
* Multi-purpose Games Area (tennis, 5-a-side football, netball).

Parking - there are several parking areas in front of and to both sides of the Leisure Centre and Memorial Halls.
Public Transport Links - Blackwater railway station (approx 14 mins walking distance), Hartley Wintney Community Bus, Stagecoach Bus Route No 3.

About Blackwater & Hawley Town Council

Blackwater and Hawley Town Council performs the usual responsibilities of a Town Council - such as managing Hawley Cemetery and Shepherd Meadows (fishing open to all). The Council is also responsible for 2 halls for hire to the local community - Hawley Memorial Hall and Hawley Leisure Hall - call 01276 35411 for further details.

User Cost/Charge Information
Leisure Centre: non-commercial rate £14.50 per hour, commercial rate (eg groups charging for entry) £25 per hour. Memorial Hall: (Mon-Weds) non-commercial rate £14.50 per hour, commercial rate £25 per hour. Note for both halls a minimum of 3 hours must be booked if it is a one-off booking. Party-type functions (Thurs - Sun): Non-commercial rate £37.50 per hour, commercial rate £55 per hour. Bar: one-off charge: non-commercial £35, commercial £50. Meeting room: non-commercial £12.50 per hour, commercial £17.50. Coffee shop comfy room: non-commercial £12.50 per hour, commercial £17.50 per hour.
