Adult Learning in Libraries (Hampshire)
About
Adult Learning in Libraries is a service for adults aged 19+ and is provided by Hampshire County Council's Participation and Lifelong Learning Service. They offer a range of FREE face to face training/courses as well as online programmes that develop skills, confidence, motivation and resilience which help adults to progress towards formal learning or employment, improve their health and well-being (including mental health) and develop stronger communities. Face to face sessions take place at libraries across Hart and Rushmoor during opening hours; online sessions take place both in the daytime and evenings.
Free courses include:
* English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
* Computing / IT
* Childcare/Parenting
* First Aid
* Health and Wellbeing
* Arts and Crafts
